Azot KAO became a participant of the international conference "Accreditation. Competence-2025" held in Samara. As part of the event, the Competent Laboratory professional award ceremony was held, and the company received two awards at once.
Azot KAO was presented by Maria Zherebnenko, head of the sanitary laboratory. In her report she told about the activities and achievements of the laboratory, and also shared practical results of the team's work.
As part of the conference programme, the participants attended trainings, master classes, business games and received advice on laboratory process diagnostics.
The culmination of the event was the awarding of the professional prize ‘Competent Laboratory’.
Maria Zherebnenko received the Laureate Diploma in the nomination ‘Laboratory Manager’ for high achievements in professional activity.
And in the nomination ‘Laboratory Specialist’ Natalia Gubina, Leading Engineer of the Water Control Group of Azot KAO Sanitary Laboratory, was awarded.
The awards received confirmed the professionalism of the employees and the efficient work of the sanitary laboratory. Every day, laboratory specialists perform analytical control of atmospheric air at the border of the sanitary protection zone, at the border of the residential zone and at Azot's production site; industrial emissions; quality of waste water and treated waste water, natural surface and underground water. The laboratory performs 200 thousand analyses per year.
High quality of tests in the laboratory is achieved due to a properly built management system, as well as systemic control at all stages of testing.
