Dmitry Makarov, General Director of Ammoni, told the Chairman of VEB.RF Igor Shuvalov and Prime Minister of the Republic Alexey Pesoshin about the main stages of the enterprise's development. One of the first points of the visit was the biological treatment facilities of the complex.
"Today we are introducing advanced energy-saving technologies. For example, during the construction of “Ammoni” plant on the basis of Novomendeleevsky chemical plant, the existing water disposal system was significantly modernized and a drainless scheme was implemented. 3.5 million cubic meters of water is returned to the technology from the own treatment facilities, which is more than 40% of the total water consumption of the enterprise", - said Dmitry Makarov.
The use of a gas turbine unit at the production facility also contributes to the conservation of energy resources. The joint generation of electricity and steam allows to achieve an efficiency of up to 70%, which is available only to large and modern cogeneration plants.
Igor Shuvalov also familiarized himself with the new production facilities of the complex. Over the past three years, Ammoni AO has started production of AdBlue reagent, liquid carbon dioxide and UAN-32 urea-ammonia mixture, as well as created a digital platform based on artificial intelligence for field assessment and crop forecasting.
"The launch of new production lines is not just the achievements of an individual company. Each project implemented at a domestic site is a contribution to import substitution and strengthening of the country's industrial potential. Such projects as Ammoni build confidence that Russia is successfully realizing the course for technological leadership and sustainable economic development," Igor Shuvalov noted.
Igor Shuvalov also noted the work of the complex under the #chemistry of a small town program. Since 2022 “Ammoni” has been developing 3 clusters in the district: tourism, comfortable urban environment and education. We inspected one of the key facilities of the cluster - Chemical-Technological Lyceum “Descendants of Mendeleev”, where major repairs were carried out, new equipment was purchased, laboratories were created. We visited the Center of Children's Competences “Mendeleev Valley”. The first Small Academy of Sciences in the republic was opened on the basis of the center.

We create a network of bicycle paths, parks, squares, open fountains, support and initiate major cultural and sports projects, participate in the creation of cultural and educational development facilities," emphasized Vsevolod Bebutov, CEO of Azot Group AO.

But the fact that today there is integration within the framework of children's and pre-school institutions, lyceum on profile education, and the fact that the children who receive target education here have opportunities to get education in a specialized university - this shows the high social responsibility of the shareholders and the administration of the enterprise.
