Azot-Agro increased the volume of seed production

The company “Azot-Agro” in Kuzbass due to participation in the national project “Labor Productivity” increased the production of wheat, pea and barley seeds, reported in the regional Ministry of Labor and Employment.
With the help of experts from the regional competence center, the company eliminated unnecessary transportation, unnecessary movements of employees, and line downtime. After the modernization of the grain conveyors, the average downtime was reduced by almost four hours. The workspaces were reorganized in accordance with the 5C system. For example, each type of grain bag is now stored in a separate place - this has reduced the time needed to find a package by 97%.
In general, the measures taken helped to increase output per flow by 14%, process time was reduced by 10%, and the potential effect of the improvements in monetary terms will amount to about 15 million rubles. By the end of 2027, the company plans to launch six more projects to implement lean manufacturing.
In Kuzbass, more than 80 enterprises of different industries have joined the national project ‘Labor Productivity’. This allows without additional capital investments, but only by using internal reserves to significantly increase output, develop production, reduce costs and receive additional profits. In addition, employees receive free training, improve their qualifications, which has a favorable effect on the economy of the entire enterprise as a whole,” said Ilya Seredyuk, the Acting Governor of Kuzbass.
The National Project “Labor Productivity” is designed to create conditions for an annual increase in labor productivity in the country by 5%. A set of measures has been developed to help businesses, including financial incentives and expert consultations on the work of enterprises. The national projects have been implemented under the decision of Russian President Vladimir Putin since 2019.
