Azot KAO has completed the audit by the independent auditing company SGS Vostok Limited AO, during which the auditor visited the plant's subdivisions for five days, checking compliance with all points of the ISO 14001 standard.
As a result of the audit, the expert presented to the labour collective the conclusions that the company's activities are conducted in compliance with all norms and environmental requirements in production. No critical and insignificant remarks were identified.
The auditor also noted Azot KAO is projects, which among other things have a positive impact on the assessment of environmental performance:
In addition, the expert voiced proposals for improving the environmental management system, which will be considered by the company's specialists and, if necessary, implemented in the plant's activities. The international certificate will be extended for one more year. In 2026, a new independent assessment of the company's environmental performance will take place.

- ‘Reconstruction of unit AK-72/1, AK-72/2 with conversion to low-temperature selective purification of exhaust gas’. Implementation of the project will solve several tasks at once - it will increase the capacity of Shop No. 15, increase its profitability, but most importantly - it will significantly reduce the environmental load on the environment.
- Implementation of a number of measures until 2030 aimed at reducing emissions from production by 54%.
- The company passed a supervisory audit of its energy management system and confirmed compliance with the standards of international requirements.
- Continued work on automation of emission sources for prompt tracking and response to their monitoring.
- Participation in environmental contests and actions of various levels.
