The competition is held as part of the national project "Labour Productivity" initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin. Marat Kerefov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, presented the winner's diploma to the company at the federal forum "Labour Productivity 360" in Kazan.

At Azot KAO, Svetlana Stenkina, an evaporation apparatus operator, is implementing a lean production mentoring project that received a high federal rating. She won the regional stage of the competition and then represented the region at the federal stage. The specialist with 17 years of work experience teaches young people the basics of the profession and teaches them to apply lean production tools.
The Best Mentoring Practices competition has been held since 2019 among companies participating in the national project "Labour Productivity", which is overseen by First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Andrei Belousov. The competition is aimed at finding and selecting successful mentoring practices in the field of labour productivity for their further dissemination and replication among the participants of the national project.
