Today Dmitry Makarov, General Director of Ammoni AO Chemical Complex, presented the new products of the company to Rustam Minnikhanov, the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The meeting took place at the Kazan Agro 2025 International Exhibition of Agricultural Achievements. Together with Rais of Tatarstan, Maxim Borovoy, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Russia, familiarised himself with the complex's products.
One of the most demanded goods for agrarians today is liquid fertilisers. Not so long ago, the Tatar Scientific Research Institute of Agriculture informed Rais Tatarstan about the shortage of liquid fertilisers in Tatarstan. The new product Ammoni AO will help in solving the problem.
‘We plan to supply 30,000 tonnes of liquid fertiliser this year. With the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic, we regularly hold training seminars for femers. The Centre for Advanced Farming proposes to install such units for liquid fertilisers, we have already shown Tatarstan farmers how they are organised, we have travelled together with the relevant ministry to Siberia and Altai,’ said Dmitry Makarov.
Rais of the Republic was interested in the product, and the first thing Rustam Minnikhanov asked was whether it was a domestic development.
‘This is a domestic development. Of course, you can put and stationary units for storing liquid fertilisers. But this variant is mobile. It holds from 50 to 300 cubic metres,’ Dmitry Makarov shared details.

Such units can be easily deployed in the fields and fertiliser can also be stored in them during the winter. Until spring. As early as in March, farmers will start the first field work this year, and fertilisers can be applied.
This year, we intend to supply 30 thousand tonnes of fertilisers to the markets of the Volga Federal District and nearby regions, and then increase production to the maximum design capacity of 150 thousand tonnes. The next stage in expanding the product line will be the production of nitrogen and magnesium fertilisers.
