Product range expanded
The company decided to expand its product range and start producing liquefied mineral fertilizers.
Product range expanded
Together with the Siberian Federal Scientific Centre for Agricultural Biotechnologies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, we started agrotechnical testing in the cultivation area of Vaganovo AO. The testing aimed to determine the most effective forms and types of mineral fertilizers for Siberian climate.

A plant for a new product—a urea-ammonium nitrate (UAN-32)—was commissioned at Azot KAO’s production facility.

First tests applying anhydrous ammonia started.

We successfully presented our new products to the leading farms in Kemerovo Oblast and Altai Krai.

Commercial activities started
The Shareholders’ Council decided to create a business unit for developing new promising areas to sell UAN-32 and provide services related to anhydrous ammonia application.

New business unit created
On 17 March 2017 a new legal entity—Tsentr peredovogo zemledeliya OOO—was incorporated. Ramil Muzhbatullin was appointed its CEO.

We purchased soil tillage equipment and refurbished the Azot KAO central lab to perform soil agrochemical analyses.

Agroconsulting services launched
Our R&D team adapted our region’s existing agricultural equipment to UAN-32 application. We also established relationships with leading suppliers of agricultural equipment to create an infrastructure for applying liquefied mineral fertilizers.

Agricultural equipment adapted
The company sold more than 15,000 tonnes of UAN-32, a product new to Siberia. Our business geography grew to encompass the entire Siberian Federal District. We signed dealer contracts with leading producers of plant protection agents. Our product range saw a significant expansion.

Business geography expanded
On 16 July 2019 a subsidiary—Azot-agro OOO—was incorporated to construct a 6,000 ha experimental test facility for Tsentr peredovogo zemledeliya OOO and develop high-quality regional seed material.

Azot-agro OOO subsidiary set up
The first Den polya exhibition was held to demonstrate the results achieved with new fertilizers and technologies. Farmers from all across the Siberian region attended. As the first Field Day was a success, we decided to hold the event every year.

Contract with ExactFarming signed
We partnered up with ExactFarming to implement new digital management tools at Siberian agricultural enterprises.
A new company, AzotAgroSnab OOO, was incorporated under the umbrella of Tsentr peredovogo zemledeliya OOO. Its primary objective is to expand sales of granular mineral fertilizers across the Siberian and Far Eastern Federal Districts.

AzotAgroSnab OOO incorporated
The volume of UAN-32 shipments reached 180,000 tonnes annually, with anhydrous ammonia applied over 150,000 ha. The Agroconsulting subdivision supported and conducted soil agrochemical analyses on more than 100,000 ha of agricultural land in the Siberian Federal District. Additionally, we actively expanded our own seed material production and sales.
